And Honda could be looking to grow with plans to put a manufacturing facility in central Ohio's Union County.

10TV has confirmed that Honda filed documents with the Ohio EPA to explore a new facility.

So they wanna utilize our folks and, um, and, and we're always happy to partner with them with our special relationship on these project labor agreements.

So, uh, w-while I'm here in Vegas at the data center conference, you know, I've been reading in the newspapers, and I think Nikkei, the, the Japanese press, was the first one to kind of leak it that, uh, Honda in Marysville is looking at building another, uh, car plant in Union County.

It was reported in my hometown newspaper.

I live in Marysville, where Honda is, and, um, it's been reported in The Columbus Dispatch.

I, I look at the work hours performed by, uh, 423 here in Columbus, I look at the work hours performed by the operating engineers, and they continue to grow and grow and grow.

And a lot of that is due to the infrastructure, roads, bridges, and highways, and I think it's important not only Columbus and Franklin County to continue to, um, invest in that, but also the state needs to continue to invest and grow that transportation budget.

Uh, you know, Union County and Delaware County, just north of Franklin County and Columbus, per capita are two of the fastest-growing counties.

They're in the top 10 every year.
