Union Correctional Institution

I'm coming back on appeal and beating it because I'm innocent.

Willie was sent to the Union Correctional Institution on September 14th, 2000.

On October 28th, 2004, the Florida Supreme Court upheld Willie's conviction and his death sentence.

At a hearing in Hillsborough County on September 8th, 2006, everybody in the courtroom learned that Willie had colon cancer.

Both federal and state authorities have denied his appeals.

And as of 2026, Gary Hilton resides in Florida's Union Correctional Institution.

He's been on death row for 15 years.

There's currently no execution date scheduled, and Jack and Irene Bryant's daughter, Holly, would later say that she would have preferred a death sentence for the murder of her parents, but she takes solace in knowing that he won't kill again, and that, quote, he will spend the rest of his life and die in a cage or at the hands of a Florida executioner.

However, he's never cooperated and refuses to discuss any crimes beyond those he was convicted of.

So, the full extent of his evil may never be known.

Today, 79-year-old Gary Hilton awaits execution at the Union Correctional Institution in Rayford, Florida.

Investigators still believe that the four murders he was convicted of represent only a fraction of his total victims.

Circuit Judge Anthony Totty accepted the jury's unanimous decision and sentenced Bargo to death row for a second time, and he remains incarcerated on Florida's death row at Union Correctional Institution.

On June 6th, 2012, 16-year-old Amber Wright and 17-year-old Kyle Hooper went to trial together in Marion County.

It was widely reported in the media that his death was extremely and obviously painful and that the process took more than half an hour.
