And in the midst of his press conference, where he's saying how great Russia was to him, we're getting the introduction of George Washington Duke, who is offering his challenger, Union Cane.

Okay.

This is the second movie in 1990 where a Cane is one of the main characters.

He was about headed to prison.

He was up on rape charges by this time, and he was knocked out by Buster Douglas nine months ago.

So here we're having George Washington Duke offering up Union Cane.

Adam, what do you feel about our introduction to these characters?

So George Washington Duke has a plan.

First, he approaches Rocky about fighting Union Kane.

Rocky can't fight Union Kane.

I've seen the boxing records.

I've seen your medical report.

There's no real reason he would know that these things would all work the way he wanted in order to get someone who refuses to box.

someone else in a boxing ring.

Now his plan involves waiting for 14 other things to happen in order for him to fulfill a plan that didn't work when he asked him to fight Union Kane.

i do i do love the name i'm a sucker for that i'll say that right off stallone and his naming of characters is questionable but i think for me i love this one i can't help it i love it always reminds me of the

union kane god anything

i was shocked you know i had it occurred to me the other day that you know the other fighter is union kane and i i am shocked that he didn't name tommy gunn's character like abel something so you would have cain and abel

like yeah

that was right there and i almost wonder if it had been rejected somewhere

Never mind.

He never won it from Balboa.

Balboa.So it says here that Kane's championship was m- uh, manufactured, that he didn't actually win it from Balboa, which is true.
