I was a mod at the time and a big jam fan.

And did you know someone named Mark Johnson who had ran a fanzine called the Phoenix List and ran Unicorn Records?

Yeah, the Phoenix List is definitely ringing a bell.

I'm not identifying with that name the way that I would with others, some others that were on the scene.

We had some wonderful times in the short period that the that the Mondays existed.

We recorded our only EP, Fortune and Glory, again, a generation song, and that was on Unicorn Records at the time.

And the Mondays actually played quite a nice selection of places on the East Coast.

We opened for the Romantics at the 930 Club here in D.C.
