Under the Tuscan Sun

go back to it.

And I'm reminded of a line from Under the Tuscan Sun, which I just watched again this week, where Diane Lane goes, buying a house in Tuscany, what a terrible idea.

And the magical Italian woman says, terrible idea.

Don't you just love those? Don't you just love those? And so I just think here you have this play that like for all intents and purposes is pretty bad.

She's got another great speech in the movie that I also will not, I won't say that one, but it's just a great, it's a

great film.

Now we're in Under the Tuscan Sun recap.

I just realized I've never read the book.

Yeah, we have to cover it.

This movie was written by Audrey Wells, who also wrote George of the Jungle, Under the Tuscan Sun, and The Hate U Give.

And she is an uncredited writer.

So she must have been doing rewrites on a ton of classic rom-coms like Runaway Bride, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Kate and Leopold.

It was really-

Under, Under the Tuscan Sun in, in-

Yes

... yeah.

[laughs]

Yes, exactly.

It was Under the Tuscan Sun.

Yeah.

I wouldn't s- be surprised if she's got a little bit of fairy tale thinking here, like I'm moving to Italy.

I'm gonna have my Under the Tuscan Sun-

Yeah

... with this guy.
