I spent

so much of my time in Vanilla WoW walking that when I saw that they're like, hey, this zone in between Un'Goro and whatever, what's there? Something's there now.

I was like, oh my gosh, it's not just flat surface.

So it doesn't matter.

In retail, there isn't a case of this zone is 15 to 20, and then this zone is 20 to 30, and, oh, don't go into fucking Un'Goro Crater because you're going to get battered because you're not at the right level.

Everything scales with your level, which, on the one hand, it gives you that ease of access to be able to go and explore and level in any zone that you want.

But on the other hand, it just completely kills that...

And if you remember Whispers of the Old Gods, uh, that came out all the way back in 2016, Blizzard is returning to that part of Warcraft history 10 years later and going much further back in the timeline.

And it kinda reminds me of how, like, last year, they did a sequel to a previous expansion, which is Journey to Un'Goro, and they brought in the quest mechanic, and this time they're kinda doing the same thing here, but with the Old Gods.

So Reign of the Black Empire is set in ancient Azeroth, 10,000s year- 10- tens of thousands of years before the version of the world that we normally see in World of Warcraft.

So a lot of iconic, legendary characters such as C'Thun, um, N'Zoth, Yogg-Saron were really at the height of their power.
