Ultimo

Look, we're getting very close to the opening of the powerhouse at Parramatta.

I'm told that the powerhouse museum in Ultimo in 1988 had 10,000 items or objects on display from its very, very valuable collection.

I'm told powerhouse Parramatta will have 1,600.

They have been claiming the cost of about $900 million.

There's been, in my belief, happy to be corrected, and usually I am corrected by the boss of the Powerhouse Museum, but I think she has stood aside, oddly, not too long ahead of the opening of Powerhouse Parramatta.

Puzzling that, but I guess we'll get a full and thorough explanation at some point.

Recent news reports, which we've covered extensively here, suggest that the government is considering selling off, this is the New South Wales government, the Powerhouse Museum complex site at Ultimo.

Some are suggesting to meet the overspend at Parramatta.

Yeah, because I lived a year in Sydney,

but I was in Ultimo at UTS.

Yeah, nice, nice.

Is that like kind of inner west?

Now, a man has been charged over multiple car break-ins.

These incidents happened across Sydney CBD earlier this month and police commenced investigations into the break-ins across Pyrmont, Ultimo and Haymarket.

Just after 8pm on Saturday, officers arrested a 40-year-old man in Ultimo and they located and seized a high-end handbag allegedly stolen hours before the arrest.

and it had inside more than $12,000 worth of stolen property.

The 40-year-old has been charged with multiple offences, including stealing, destroying or damaging property, dishonestly obtaining property by deception, and entering a vehicle without the consent of the owner.

Well, I hope so.

And then what happened? How did they catch him?

Well, he was in a park in Ultimo behind some bushes going through, I think it was a Louis Vuitton handbag at the time, which had property in it in excess of $12,000.
