Ultimate Wolverine

Well, it's just me today.

Sonia did not play Wolverine.

That's

all right.

Yeah, that's

true.

Before we even talk about Wolverine, there's a few things.

This is a regular episode of the podcast.

Yes.

We've talked about them in a, uh, Also By where we talked about Jed's and Alessandro Coppeto, who was the artist on, um, Wolverine, Ultimate Wolverine.

I really enjoyed it the first time I read it, and I enjoyed it even more reading it again.

Yeah.

... of, like, the, the, the three.

And that's ironic because for this very same reason, that's why I hated Ultimate Wolverine.

I was like, this kind of stinks.

Uh, it's kind of generic.

What was it? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, Ultimate Wolverine.

I was like, what was the other book?

Yeah.

Yeah, that was the one.

Nice

... really enjoyed that, uh, Infernal Hulk/Wolverine.

I thought that was an awesome comic book.

Yeah.

The...

It's just cool, the aesthetic and the vibe of the book.

I'm gonna shout out Wolverine Paradise number one.

And this one might seem like an odd duck for me, a, a Wolverine sort of, you know, offshoot book.

Yeah.

I mean, I could see, I mean, you figure ultimate spider man was great up until kind of when, you know, the, the end, like you said, ultimate Wolverine was a great title.

Um, ultimate black Panther started off super strong.

Uh, we couldn't care less about the X-Men.

I just can't believe that they wanted to stop.

I like the idea that he said that, you know, at the 24th issue, it would have been an event.

Obviously, only Ultimates and Spider-Man really, and probably Black Panther would have hit the 24th because Ultimate Wolverine kind of started a little bit later.

Yeah.
