Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny

Today, we close out Richard Garriott's second Ultima trilogy as we discuss not one, but two games.

Get your map and your reference guide handy as we explore Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny, and Ultima VI: The False Prophet.

It's a video game podcast.

Wow.

This makes sense.

So, um, like I said, there's two games here.

These are Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny and Ultima VI: The False Prophet.

We can talk about the individual plots, uh, as we get into the games themselves.

It's a long time.

I did want to ask you what your – because my thoughts playing Ultima V after having played IV, people said, oh, you should – like the good ones, you can skip II and III, but you should play IV, V, VI, and VII.

I hope

you get to VII.

[laughs] Right.

Well, it, it, you know, you've just clearly not been playing the, uh, latest updates for Ultima V here.

[laughs] Oh, yeah, Ultima V looks real different in this version of the game.

It's a little crazy.

Yeah, this is the Master System port, and it looks wild.

[laughs]

[laughs]

No, uh, we are not playing Ultima V as promised last week.

Loosen up that lettuce.

Next week, we're going to be doing Ultima V, Warriors of Destiny.

A return to the fantasy world of Richard Garriott's alias Lord British.

That'll never stop being funny.
