Ulsan HD FC

When the whistle sounded, confirmation arrived from elsewhere as well.

2nd place Ulsan HD had drawn 2-2 with Pohang Steelers, leaving FC Seoul 16 points clear with only 5 matches remaining.

The title was mathematically secure.

The championship deserves to be understood properly.

Well, FC Seoul took a two to draw against, uh, Kimcheon Sangmu on Sunday, moving to 66 points with, uh, six matches to go.

On Saturday, uh, Ulsan HD FC, they're in second place.

Mm.

They defeated Bucheon FC two to one, removing any possibility that FC Seoul could clinch this past weekend.

FC Seoul defeated Jeju United, uh, actually, the Jeju SK FC two to one at home on Saturday, reaching 65 points.

Ulsan HD FC lost the following day to remain a distant second place with only 47 points.

So FC Seoul needs just several more points in their remaining seven matches to clinch their first title in 10 years.

Very strong season for them.

On December 1, 2013, Pohang Steelers entered the final match of the Korean season with one requirement.

They had to beat Ulsan Hyundai away from home.

A draw would make Ulsan champions.

90 minutes passed without a goal, then four more minutes of stoppage time.
