And London Weekend Television announced its latest weapon in the autumn ratings war, Gladiators, to be hosted by Ulrika Jonsson and John Fashanu, filmed at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham and costing £2 million for nine episodes.

She's half Swedish, half British, but she was born in, uh, Sollentuna in Sweden, so maybe that'll just swing it in her favor for me.

Weather presenter on Good Morning Britain at the start of the '90s, then did Gladiators from '92 to the end of the decade, so really covering, you know, a huge chunk of the decade just with that alone.
