Udon United FC

Chiang Mai FC on top with 10, with Mae Jo also with 10, Phichit in third place with eight.

In the northeast on Saturday, Udon Thani play K- play Khon Kaen Mord Daeng, Isan Fighter play Udon United.

That's a weird one because the teams are both owned through the Nong Bua Pichya College setup.

Uh, you have to assume Isan Fighter is rather going to throw that game against Udon and use a less than full strength team as has happened in previous seasons.

On Sunday the 18th, Khon Kaen FC play Pichaya Bundit College, another team out of that same, uh, Nong Bua Pichya setup.

Udon Thani are top with 10, followed from Udon United with eight, Khon Kaen FC with eight, and Korat City with eight.

In the east, Buriram are top with nine, Pattaya City have seven, Chatuchak Saenghai have six.

Only three games played in the East League.

Pianrat really should have made that 2-1 to the visitors.

Halftime, Prachuap bring on Victor Kapunan, the Brazilian center back who arrived from Udon United, for the second half.

And again, it was Prachuap starting brighter.

Sarut saving well away to his left side from Kaina Nunes' bouncing shot.

And that cannot be good for the league.

Uh, Udon Ban Chang, Udon United, Pichaya Bundit College, and Isan Fighter all share the same ownership through the educational and business network of Pichaya Bundit College.

They're basically sister teams.

They share resources.

They have the same institutional backing.

So you pick whichever team you want to be the promoted side, presumably Udon United, because they were obviously the favorites last season, and there's potentially 18 points available from their sister teams.

Yeah.

Why doesn't the owner try and go out and buy the other eight, and then he can shout, "Full house"?

Meijiao United, for folks in Chiang Mai, host K-Lang United.

Konken FC play Udon United, a battle of two of the bigger teams in the North East.

And FC Yala take on Nakhon Si United.

Times for all the games and all the fixtures are on the Thai League website, which takes us very neatly, Phil, into your preview for Match Week 4.
