But you've got to get into the state to get there effectively.

And so what I told him was, you take, you know, from where he was located in Tampa, you know, take 75, you know, take 75 north right outside of Ocala, start looking for roads to get off to get on Highway 301, which cuts through the middle of the state.

Then after you take 301 north to get on to I-10, jump on I-10 east, head to I-95, take I-95 north and take I-95 north all the way into Lumberton, North Carolina.

So that means you're going to now You're going to start around Jacksonville once you get off of I-10 onto 95.

Uh, so tab number two, and our first item for Public Works is, uh, item number one on pages one through three.

And this is a, uh, letter to the governor, uh, requesting state, um, allocations in the FY28 governor's budget for the detention center and for additional... well, and for safety improvements at the US 301 and 405 intersection.

Uh, we're asking he include those in his budget for next year for, um, for action.

So I have a question before you guys get started.

We told you it was not going to be a washout this past weekend, and there were some spots, most notably St. Johns County, that got very little rain on Saturday and Sunday.

But then over into Baker County and near the Highway 301 corridor, including in Duval, there were some neighborhoods that got upwards of 5 to 6. inches of rain.

So the weather pattern continues with off and on rain, especially over the next few days.

It is a cloudy and dreary stretch of weather that we have headed our way.

I mapped it out, Joe, because I wanted to see if you were a truck driver coming to the Firestone plant and picking up tires and trucking on down the way or any other thing, you would not be on 95 coming through Wilson.

You would be on Highway 301.

Highway 301 goes straight out of Wilson, goes right by the Firestone plant, Joe, and goes all the way up to Maryland.
