A driver is now facing charges in a deadly crash here in Burlington County.

Police say 51-year-old Welther Briggs of Willingboro was struck and killed early Sunday morning while crossing Route 130 in Edgewater Park.

Investigators have charged 51-year-old Hussein Ozkerk of Pemberton with driving while suspended or unlicensed and causing death to a pedestrian.

A man is dead following a pedestrian crash in Burlington County.

Edgewater Park Police responded to the intersection of Route 130 and Pennypacker Drive at about 2 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man on the road and a vehicle with damage on the front driver's side.

The pedestrian, later identified as 51-year-old Welther Briggs, was pronounced dead.

A deadly crash now under investigation.

The victims were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital's Cedar Crest campus.

One person was killed after being hit by a car in Edgewater Park, New Jersey overnight.

Police say it happened around 2 o'clock this morning at Route 130 and Pennypacker Drive.

Authorities say the pedestrian was found in the northbound lanes after being hit by a car traveling south.

They just repaired one on Route 70 in Cherry Hill.

And now this one's not working correctly in Gloucester on Route 130 southbound the intersection at Market Street.

They do have that left lane blocked off as they work on that light.

Be very careful as you pass by.

Plenty of volume there on Route 73 as well as Route 295, I-295 in the area.

In Delran, they're doing some electrical repairs on Route 130, northbound and southbound between Taylor's Lane and Delran Parkway.

There are some lane closures, so that is going to slow you down a little bit in both directions there.

Otherwise, near the city, we're just dealing with some volume, especially on the Schuylkill Expressway, Brian and Sarah.

Yeah.

And got up to Route 130 where the accident took place.

It was actually North Brunswick.

And all these ambulances and I just looked at the car, which was... pretty damaged and ran over as quickly as I could.

One by one, flags were placed in the ground at the September 11th Memorial in Pensauken.

It sits at the corner of Route 130 and Merchantville Avenue, a tribute to the heroes who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.

It's something they've been doing on the eve of 9-11 since 2003.

When the country marked 10 years since the attacks, a steel beam from the North Tower of the World Trade Center was dedicated as a permanent fixture of this memorial.

She was transported to a hospital following the wreck on September 2nd in North Brunswick.

The mayhem began around 7.30 a.m. near Route 130 in Washington Place.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were conducting a targeted enforcement operation.

According to ICE, the officer stopped in Acura and ordered the driver to exit the vehicle.

Brunswick Mayor Francis Womack tells MyCentralJersey.com that Dr. Penelope Cohen was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening after the wreck around 7.30 Wednesday morning.

Officials say Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents pulled over a vehicle and the driver stopped at first but then sped off and ran a red light near Route 130 and Raider Road in North Brunswick and crashed right into Dr. Cohen's car.

Officials say that driver being chased ran off, but ICE agents caught the person.
