Tyrant

But before we do that, important business, John, please bring us the word of the day.

Eric, today's word is tyrant.

Tyrant.

T-Y-R-A-N-T. Tyrant.

An absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution.

also a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally, one resembling an oppressive ruler in harsh use of authority or power.

This would be a post-diluvian bloodline.

And that if you're familiar with the Guy Gee's kings, the Tyrannos, the Tyranos, uh, of Assyria, like with, uh, post-diluvian god's name, like God, named after antediluvian g- giants named God.

So kings, they would take the names of antediluvian giants, as Gilgamesh does in the Epic of Gilgamesh, uh, as a post-diluvian giant versus Gilgamesh of the Book of Giants of Enoch before the flood.

And so these are part of the Herculides bloodlines.

So people then go back and say, "Okay-" Even though there's records like the Egyptians on the Shazu and you can cite all these other records, then why does the definition for Nephilim, because they don't even know what a Rephaim is, so they'll use Nephilim, include bully or tyrant? So why wouldn't you just, for these mighty ones in Genesis 6.4, where they could have been just bullies, you know, just warriors, right? Well, that's part of the meaning, sure, as is giant and a tribe of giants.

But do you know where those words are sourced from? I mentioned one earlier, just as the lords of the Philistines go back to the Gaiji's kings that were called Tyrannos and the Hittites or the Anatolian Tarwanas.

These were the Tyrannos kings because they were tyrants.

And Hercules is the offspring of Zeus and Elkmeni, the human female.

And The Herculides bloodline produced the Tyrannos or the tyrant kings of the Gyges kings.

Gyges or Gyges in the plural or Gyges, all meaning the same thing, giant and giants in Greek.

These were the giant tyrant kings because they were awful kings.

But an enslaved people loses in addition to this warlike courage all signs of enthusiasm, for their hearts are degraded, submissive, and incapable of any great deed.

Tyrants are well aware of this and, in order to degrade their subjects further, encourage them to assume this attitude and make it instinctive.

Xenophon, grave historian of first rank among the Greeks, wrote a book, footnote, The Hieron, a youthful didactic work consisting of a dialogue between Simonides and the tyrant of Syracuse.

The latter confesses his inner doubts and misgivings, his weariness of the dangers constantly besetting him, his sadness at not being loved by anyone.

They often provided the city wards with feasts to cajole the rabble, always more readily tempted by the pleasure of eating than by anything else.

The most intelligent and understanding amongst them would not have quit his soup bowl to recover the liberty of the Republic of Plato.

Tyrants would distribute largesse, a bushel of wheat, a gallon of wine, and a sesterce.

And the tyrant takes advantage of the polis in the same way he took advantage of his mother and father.

But Plato, there's a weird kind of double, it's almost like a misfortune for the tyrant in some sense.

Tyrant is a person who has no judgment here, doesn't have good judgment.

So for them to become the ruler, Plato's like, is a really bad, it's bad for them, it's bad for everybody else.

He describes it as being like a sick person having to become an athlete.

A tyrant now means, like, a sort of terrible, awful bully and, you know, kind of monstrous leader who, you know, i- is, is ruthless and cruel.

That's not what it originally means.

Tyrannos is a Greek word meaning someone who has come to power by being the strongest.

So you haven't inherited the throne from your dad.

You have c- you've grabbed power, so you are the greatest soldier-
