There were a lot of pioneers.

Uh, wanna give a shout-out to Henrique Nardi and Tipografia and GiaTipo, which is the Brazilian type conference, because those guys really helped bring a lot of knowledge in and build a community around it so that by the time that we were students, there was a lot of people that we could bother to, to learn from, and they were all very generous to us.

So that was a bit of a lucky strike.

I actually also wanna give a shout-out to everyone who's been working on GiaTipo.

Yeah.

So the first in- interview went really well, and then she had a conference last year here in Barcelona.

At the same time, I discovered Tipografia, right, very close by.

We were already planning for me to come with her here to Barcelona, so I would see Alvaro for the first time physically in five or six years.

In the dedication, Cox discusses the Latinity of his author, the value of the book for reading in schools, and how it has helped to repel barbarous Latinity and to lead the way back to Cicero.
