Now safety's coach Tyler Stockton, who also met with the media yesterday on the final day of media availability before we get ready for, uh, Saturday's game against Oklahoma.

Now safety's coach Tyler Stockton here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA.

Can you assess how your group overall played on Saturday, and then where's Rod Moore in terms of where you think he can be?

I thought they did a good job playing fast, playing physical.

Probably the biggest thing is how the l- the crowd gets so loud, he can't hear m-me talking to him all the time.

That was probably a little bit of adjustment, but we've been working on this since spring ball with him.

Now, how does that translate into the game on Saturday and moving forward? We'll find out, but starting, starting right after the game, and all the media availabilities and interviews that we've heard, uh, since, uh, right after the game, including right after the game, but, uh, w- uh, Coach Whittingham on Monday, uh, the players on Tuesday night, and then the coaches and Bryce Underwood yesterday that met with the media.

We also heard, in addition to Bryce Underwood, we also heard from defensive end coach Lewis Powell and safeties coach Tyler Stockton.

So a lot of accountability.

You hear from the players in particular.

A lot of accountability from within, and now we just have to see how that translates into the game on Saturday.

So saying the right things, now will it translate into performance? We'll find out.

And we heard from Bryce Underwood yesterday, uh, we'll hear that coming up in just a little bit, followed by Lewis Powell and then, uh, Tyler Stockton.

Yes, Tyler Stockton, Michigan's safeties coach this week, compared John Mateer to a bigger, stronger – or stronger, more athletic Baker Mayfield.

And he does kind of have – and he's from Texas, just like Baker, just like Kyler Murray, kind of these gunslinger-type quarterbacks.

And, again, that could play into Michigan's favor if he puts the ball in harm's way like we've seen him do in the past.

Normally, I mean, we'll back our guy.

Normally, it's more like what Tyler Stockton, we talked to the safeties coach today as we record this on Wednesday.

I just talked to him like an hour ago.

He was asked about Bryson Underwood and what he talked about is he's like, look, he's like, I'm not, he's like, like he was asked about what he's looked like in fall camp.

Right.

And I mean, he was he was sensational.

I mean, who was I think it was Tyler Stockton again today who was calling him a bigger, more athletic Baker Mayfield.

He said he said, I mean, I think so.
