So I'm more so looking at Moran because of the options or the lack of options.

I'm also looking at someone like a Tyler Samaniego.

Tyler Samaniego did not give this team a ton.

He had a pretty good run there early in the year, but he gave them way more than Johan Oviedo, and you would have never expected that when this trade was done.

So do the Pirates need to look at the free agent market? I know last year the Gregory Soto contract was in large part, it's like, there weren't a lot of lefties they liked out there.

I think that's part of the reason why they added, like, Tyler Samaniego last year to the 40-man roster.

Now, he was traded in the Justin San Garcia deal, but...

It was like, look, just get another lefty in the mix.

Tyler Samaniego was solid, but not great, right? There were moments where he looked really good.

There were moments where he looked really bad.

The sample size isn't big enough for us to really have a huge opinion either way.

The only reason I'm not going to put him in really good is because his longevity wasn't fantastic, right? For a pretty good chunk of the season, it was like five innings from Ranger, but when he was on, he was really on.

Payton Tully, really good.

You could make the debate that he was an MVP as well with Sonny Gray but again I'm trying to reserve that to for the three best of all of these guys he's right there though Tyler Uberstein yeah again Archie Moonlight Graham probably another one of those guys that you're like okay who's that guy again Ryan Watson interesting interesting conversation because the ERA is not great but he also played a very specific role with the Red Sox where I kind of want to put him in eh but but he was worse than Eric Miller, I think, overall, worse than Tyler Samaniego overall.
