He's obsessed with the movie Twisters.

The main male character, Tyler Owens, who's played by Glenn Powell, he always wears a white cowboy hat in the movie, and my son wants to be just like him.

So they had so much fun that by the end of the night, my oldest was actually asking me how he could get involved with the rodeo.

My mom heart was just like, oh my God, this is amazing.

And for him, the rodeo represents freedom.

When I initially listened to the song with the intention of adapting it into fiction, I wasn't quite sure what my story was going to be yet.

I had my main character, who's the narrator of the song, but I didn't have the story.

It wasn't enough for me that we've got this lonesome cowboy who's lost everything and he's on his way to Amarillo.
