Tyler Lockhart

So I, I, I'll go Evans, but again, who knows, man?

Defensively, I mean, I feel like I have to go with Tyler Lockhart, right? Because he's the only starting linebacker out there.

Every, you know, whoever plays alongside him, him and Amari Williams I guess you could find a way.

They've got to be good.

You know that Levis, when you pressure him, he will give you the football.

So you, you need somebody to step up and get sacks this week.

And, you know, from the linebacker position, Tyler Lockhart's your best bet there with, with apparently Tillman's not going to play.

We know Jalen Smith is out.

Now LSU wins by running it up inside with a quarterback who's not afraid to keep it.

So for Mississippi State, it's Tyler Lockhart.

He's a sophomore.

He's going to fill the inside gaps against Sam Levitt's quarterback keepers.

Mm.

Because when we started this year, if you'd have thought about having Zakari Tillman and Jalen, and you think about having, uh, Fat Forrest, who you expect a lot out of this year, and you think about having Tyler Lockhart, we just said, "You know what? Zach Arnitz never played more than two guys there anyway.

We're fine." But man, just one-

Yeah

You'll see a play down on this end of the field, and the offensive line coaches are at the exact opposite end of the field trying to get an angle where they can see.

So it can be difficult.

From where I was, though, I thought, and, and I don't know if the numbers will bear this out at all, I thought Tyler Lockhart was flying around a good bit defensively.

I thought he moved around the field.

So, uh, good luck number 5.

Now, Mississippi State on defense, they got a guy that I like, number 11, Tyler Lockhart.

Looked good last week.

One and a half sacks, very physical sophomore linebacker.

I like the linebacker group as well.

Tyler Lockhart, Jalen Smith, Zakari Tillman.

I think that's a good, talented group.

The strength is in the secondary, though.

Jalen Smith, number 10, he leads the team right now with 28 tackles.

Tyler Lockhart, he's number 11.

He's got 26 tackles and a sack and a half.

Up front, Jarae Bledsoe, he's number nine.
