Tyler Gillett

you know, that's by no accident.

Same directors, Matt Bettel and Tyler Gillette,

who

are more commonly known as a radio silence.

Masaki Tezuka, three films.

And then tied for fourth, we ha- at two films, Ishii Rojando, Ernesto Gastaldi, Vittorio Salerno, Darren Lynn Bousman, George King, David A. Viner, Ruggero Deodato, Tyler Gillett, Matt Belzoneli Open, and Kevin Tenny.

And I'm actually starting to think about that.

Darren Lynn Bousman probably should be tied up with Tezuka because I have watched another film from him and everything like that.

I'm going to skip over a story that I'm really excited about to talk about this story because we just brought up radio silence.

Um, universal announced that a new mummy movie with original stars, Brendan Frazier and Rachel vice and directed by radio silence, which is, uh, Matt Bettinelli open and Tyler Gillette, uh, will open on May 19th, 2028, which I believe is the spot that both of those Mummy movies, or no, Mummy opened, I think, early May.

The originals, at least the first two with Frasier and Weiss.

I think it's the first weekend of May, but these radio silences directing the new one with them, it's going to open in 2028.

Oh, that's quite early.

Yes, so we did watch Ready or Not 2, Here I Come, which was Michael's first of his first run of three films, which is a 2026 comedy horror film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Oakman and Tyler Gillette, and is a sequel to the 2019 film Ready or Not.

stars Samara Weaving and Catherine Newton, co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Sean Hattersey, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood.

Had a budget of $14 million, made $43 million.

Secret screenplay.

Matt Badalini-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence are going to direct the sequel, replacing the original filmmaker Stephen Sommers.

David Kogeshall wrote the screenplay for the fourth movie, and the directing duo previously helmed Wedding Nightmare, Scream 6, and Abigail together.

Abigail.

Yes.

Directed by friends of the pod, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

Hey.

And written by R. Christopher Murray and, brr- Brr ... super friend of the pod, Guy Busick.

And then I have Masaki Tezuka at three films.

And then tied for fourth, we have Ishiro Honda, Ernesto Gastaldi, Vittorio Solano, Darren Lynn Bousman, George King, David A. Viner, Ruggiero Diodato, Tyler Gillette, Matt Beltinelli, Olpen, and Kevin Tenney all at two films there.

So that's all I'm going to do here then for this monthly review for August 2026.

Let me go ahead then and get you over to a brief break before I get into those mini reviews.

Here I come.

This is from 2026, of course.

This was co-written or co-directed between Matt Bentinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillette, you know, Radio Silence.

They also helped out with Guy Busiek and R. Christopher Murphy.
