Two and Two Make Six

By the '60s, he was known as one of the best cinematographers in the British film industry, having earned an Oscar by this time for his work on Jack Cardiff's film Sons and Lovers in 1960.

He made his directorial debut in 1962 with the romantic comedy Two and Two Make Six, but he became better known for directing horror films, working for Hammer through the '60s, and then Amicus Productions in the 1970s.

For those who have been following along this season, I'm pretty sure I mentioned in our episode zero, our history of Hammer maybe it was, that Amicus Productions became kind of a rival studio to Hammer.

So it was a pretty cool rivalry between the two, the two studios.
