Twilight Zone: The Movie

We'll be in a movie tomorrow.

Twilight Zone movie marathon.

Absolutely.

Not marathon.

Hold on.

You want to dive into the Twilight Zone real quick? I'm not

diving into it, but that is a set safety thing that angers me.

If you know the lore about the Twilight Zone movie and what happened, that is not a curse.

That is something where if I was on, like, associated with this, I would be pissed if it's like, oh, this is cursed.

Maybe it is now because of the choices that were made that led to the tragedy on that film.

the like eight people died

Well, like, that's really sad and scary.

But in the Twilight Zone movie, they, obviously, it's like they're remaking, like, classic Twilight Zone, like, you know, episodes.

And the one that they did with John Lithgow, where there's, like, a fucking alien, or, like, there's, like, a gremlin on the plane.

Oh, yeah, yeah,

yeah.

And so John Landis is going through a court case at this stage.

He wasn't allowed to finish The Twilight Zone in post-production.

He basically did a director's cut for them and then hands it off, and he's basically in court dealing with this.

So one of the all-time great directors, trading places before this.

great director.

He is.

I mean, he, for, you know, again, like, there's that cloud of, understandably, the Twilight Zone hanging over his career.

But if you look at his career, it's not like he actually slows down much, right? Like, he makes Animal House.

Vic Morrow gets top billing here, and quite rightly so, as his acting, despite not being on screen very much, is far superior than the rest of the cast.

Vic Morrow sadly is more known these days for his tragic death on the set of the Twilight Zone movie than his acting which is such a shame as I think had he not been killed he would be clutching an Oscar around about now.

So The Evictors is a little lacking all around.

Don't get me wrong it's an entertaining enough watch and there's just enough here to keep your attention.

That

guy was a serious, and it's funny because he has, I was realizing, I think Scorsese is kind of in the point of his career that Preminger is where he's like acting in a lot of movies.

Yeah.

I don't know if

you've been noticing this, but Scorsese has been in like eight movies i feel like in the last five years

like keanu uh the uh the movie joan hill directed outcome he's in hand of dante he's great in the studio so funny in that um i really like him as an actor i like that kind of transition he's been making
