Rounding out today, Apple has officially announced the release date for its next round of software updates.

iOS twenty-seven, watchOS twenty-seven, macOS twenty-seven, visionOS twenty-seven, and tvOS twenty-seven will all be released on Monday, September fourteenth.

Apple has also published the full release notes for iOS twenty-seven for the first time, going in-depth on new Siri AI features, upgrades to Apple Intelligence, child safety improvements, and various other system improvements like Liquid Glass, faster performance, upgraded search, and more.

That's an, or maybe as a photo, I'm not, I believe there's like the photos app right on the, on the TV.

Or I wonder, I mean, you can, I would think it, cause we're like with tvOS, I'm thinking out loud.

I wonder if you, I mean, can you install like a third, you know, can you install like another app, like a third party media player app that can play files? Yeah.

I don't know.

Given the tvOS hasn't changed, I don't think it's going to be revolutionary because that's what needs to change is tvOS needs an update.

And that is something that I think Apple does very well when it spotlights creators and such on the app store and such.

Well, moving on, HomePod with a screen, it's rumored to have something of a mix between tvOS and watchOS as its operating system with watch faces and a face gallery and also home control and such.

We don't really know exactly what it's going to be able to do.

I do think, though, and this is something that I believe the Upgrade podcast talked about, and I do agree with them.

And if not, and as we mentioned earlier, Eitan, the big thing is we're going to get the date for the new 27 family of operating systems.

iOS 27, iPadOS, macOS, GoldenGate, tvOS, watchOS.

And I'm going to say the same thing I say every year at this time.

Say it in unison.

And of course, any day now, you'll get Apple Podcasts in video as well on your Apple TV.

That is coming out with the new tvOS release, which I think is likely to happen next week, if not the week after.

We've just had another beta, but it's very, very close now, apparently.

And that means that you get video on macOS desktop, and you also get video on Apple TV as well, which is a smart thing.

Similar with Control Center, how it just slides over or slides down.

It looks like it would be perfect on something like this, and it's also this new operating system is supposedly based on tvOS, so would make sense there.

Um, but I don't think we're gonna get a full-fledged App Store, but I think that is part of the brilliance of this.

I had been saying this, and now this, like, latest leak in the macOS 26.7 RC has seemingly confirmed what I've been saying for, like, a year now, which is that Apple is going to take its widget and Live Activities interfaces that they brought to the Mac and put it on this.

So I don't know where they'll land with Apple TV, 'cause it doesn't need quite as much, but my guess is A17 Pro processor enabling Apple Intelligence.

We will have, um, likely Apple's N1 chip.

I think there were some code references to Apple's N1 networking chip, so Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and StillThread, which is jumping to 1.4 with tvOS 27.

Yay.

But I don't think they're going to go into them a lot.

They might highlight something new in tvOS 2017. but I don't think they're going to dive deep into those products.

I think if they show this new HomePad, they're going to dive deep into it because it's a new OS, it's a new interface, there's a lot to show and tell about.

And I would be excited to see it.

I mean, I guess it, it kind of hinges on like Siri.

Does Siri get like a, like a spotlight here? Because if that's the case, maybe they use Siri as the umbrella for the watches because they're getting a faster chip and they have the Siri AI thing.

tvOS and HomePod Mini can now do Siri AI and ask questions and have conversations.

Oh, and also we have this thing that ties it all together.
