I was a massive fan of Tihima's last novel, Turncoat.

And I've really enjoyed all of Tihema's work.

But also, I love listening to Tihema talk, especially about how best to sort of respond to the time that we're living in and how best to describe this in fiction.

Like where did you, where did you sit with it?

I, yeah, I can sort of remember how it all came together.

And maybe this is a bit of a theme with me because Turncoat came together in much the same way.

It was like two or three sort of different concepts that, and to go back to sort of Brian's point before, it's very much how I write, I guess.

A few episodes ago, we did the Turncoat, and I did a mechanic that I was confident in, and then read it out loud and was like, "This doesn't work-"
