Valois, which sits at an altitude of 1,450 metres, is an authentic, lively alpine village and ski resort, where during the winter 70% of its 160 kilometres of slopes that rise to 2,750 metres sit above 2,000 metres and are shared with its neighbouring resort, that of Valminiae.
S

Then, like, yeah, last year, the rehabbing the knee, I, I didn't have much of an off-season at all either, so I'm, I'm excited for that.
T
17:54Taylor FritzGUEST
But at the same time, I, you know, dealt with everything I dealt with earlier in the year, skipped the clay court season, and now I'm feeling pretty healthy, and I'm, I'm 10 in the race, so I don't see any reason why I can't finish strong and grab a, grab a top eight spot and, and, and be in Turin.
T
18:12Taylor FritzGUEST
So I think that's kinda just the goal right now.

Does anyone wanna make the tour finals? Like, I was actually so thoroughly encouraged that after his semifinal loss, uh, what's the motivation? Frances Tiafoe's answer in that press conference, "I will get my butt to Turin."

A

Uh, Tommy Paul, 29 years old, 11th in the points race, has never made a tour finals.
A
41:45Alex GruskinHOST
And then all of those young guys, Fils, Hodar, um, you know, can they, uh, Mensik, can they get themselves a bite at the apple, get that opportunity early in their career to play that sort of event and be around those guys? I think those sorts of things matter.
A
42:02Alex GruskinHOST
So there's both the horror of the tour finals race and the fascination of, well, look, eight guys are going to Turin.

You look at all the time my parents did traveling with her and uh it's like my what i'm so proud of my sister is just the work ethics she had at different rounds she didn't start playing hockey at a very young age she was more into ring at the canadian version of a little bit of hockey there from that standpoint and then i made and once the hockey got into olympics she made the switch over to hockey and really made a a strong commitment to improving herself in that game and uh It's great to see her throughout her entire career and the big moments and the fact that I was able to get to the Olympics in Torino and get to the Olympics in Vancouver was certainly something special for myself.
J
12:57Jason BotterillGUEST
And then to sort of see all that be rewarded, and she did obviously a great job with her speech there.
J
13:03Jason BotterillGUEST
So it was certainly a proud moment, but it was also very proud just to see my parents being able to enjoy that moment.
