Tumbleton

It's, uh, the last two episodes of the show versus the last parts of the book we can read according to what we've seen in the show.

Uh, those two episodes are called The Dragon in Winter and The Treasons at Tumbleton, uh, episodes seven and eight.

Uh, Aron, I know we have a lot of feedback to do also, but we're gonna talk about what's different in the book.

Uh, where do you wanna start with this one?

Sure.

Well, we probably touched on this last week, but there's just a load of differences between Tumbleton in the TV show and Tumbleton in the book.

Uh-huh.

Everybody calm down.

No, I think that the show was the first three episodes were really good, but like, I remember cause I still have the notes and I was like, let me look through the notes I took for episodes, like the Tumbleton episode.

And I was like, what the fuck is this? It's just like, it's, It's just like, I don't know.

There's like a lot of red tape, you know, it sounds like.

When you have somebody like Damon and he's just fun to watch and he's fun to hang out with or whatever, then you go, well, that adds some spice to it or whatever.

This season, it felt like, first of all, there's this villain who just popped out of nowhere that I'm supposed to give a shit about, but I really don't.

There's this town called Tumbleton that honestly, it sounds silly.

Can you pause

They're talking about, "We're going to take, uh, get your dragon." He had this whole plan.

"We're gonna go to Tumbleton.

We're gonna take King's Landing.

We're gonna go take a hold of Westeros, and bra." What's that one politician? Bra.

I think, I mean, I assume that Aemond is gonna reunite with Vhagar pretty early on, probably episode one.

Aegon and Aemond will find Vhagar because they have a dragon, then it'll be quicker.

Um, they realize things went sideways in Tumbleton and they can't go there, so maybe they have a plan where Aegon's like, "I'm gonna go take Dragonstone back from Rhaenyra," and Aemond's just gonna st- you know, burn the Riverlands or whatever.

Um, I'm a little worried that it's gonna be just him deciding to go there as like a, "I'm gonna stick it to Rhaenyra," which could be really compelling.

Sexy, sexy Ormond.

And then a dragon keeper comes and says, Ormond and the Hightowers have taken over Tumbleton.

I said, Tumbleton? I don't remember that.

What's Tumbleton? What's Tumbleton?

I thought it was like in one of those tumblers.

I was thinking about, I was, you know what I was thinking about? I was thinking about the thimble because I'm an idiot and Tumbleton reminds me of thimble from Monopoly.

Also, I've been playing Monopoly Go.
