He's a Mississippi musician based in Texas who also subscribes to what's known as the Tulsa Sound.

So there are plenty of general explanations of the style of music that makes up the Tulsa Sound.

So we'll ask Jason what it means to him.

For those of you who may not be in the know, generally the roots of the Tulsa Sound can be traced back to the 1950s, early 1960s.

And it can be described as a mix of blues, blues rock, country, rock and roll, and swamp pop.

So it's also said that the Tulsa sound has influenced and contributed to other genres, including alt country and red dirt music.

Yeah, I've actually had a couple of conversations with some people about the Tulsa Sound because I love Don Williams, which I always associate with the Tulsa Sound, J.J. Kale and whatnot.
