Clashes between settlers and the Palestinians were reported in a number of locations in the West Bank today.

The IDF is maintaining a closure on Ramallah and the nearby city of El Biray, and troops raided a number of locations, including in Bethlehem, Nablus and Tulkarem.

Defence Minister Yisrael Katz says Israel will destroy all that remains of Gaza City and force around a million Gazans to evacuate if Hamas takes a single Israeli hostage.

During a state memorial ceremony this morning, he also reiterated that Israel will not withdraw from the yellow line in Gaza to new deployment lines as long as Hamas is not removed and and Gaza is not demilitarised from weapons and tunnels.

And therefore, it cannot be released from occupation to the Palestinians on that count.

So you see this is happening in Hebron, al-Khalil, you see it in Nablus, you saw it before in Jenin and Tul Karem, where the refugee camps there have been, the people have been displaced, the residents have been displaced.

Over 50,000 families displaced.

So this has been ongoing.

Amazing that there has to be one of those, but with 9,400 of them sitting in Israeli prisons, somebody needs to be their voice.

The non-governmental group said Israeli forces raided dozens of homes and searched them, damaging the contents of some properties during the operation, which was concentrated in the provinces of Nablus, Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, Tubas, and Tukarem.

Amid further raids, airstrikes and settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the UN Human Rights Office warned that the Israeli military's actions risked further inflaming an already explosive situation.

At least four airstrikes were reported by the Israeli security forces ISF in Nur Sham's refugee camp in Tulkarem on Monday night that left five dead, three Palestinian men and two boys aged 13 and 15.

Three of the fatalities, including the two boys, were killed while they were passing by the targeted house located in one of the small and crammed alleyways in the camp, OHCHR said, citing multiple sources.

The UN office warned that the situation in the occupied West Bank could worsen dramatically if the Israeli military continues to systematically use unlawful lethal force and ignore violence perpetrated by settlers.

People in Gaza, most of them, I would say the majority of people in Gaza have never been able to visit the West Bank.

People in Hebron have a very tough time being able to visit the people in the north in places like Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nablus.

And those people in Nablus and Tulkarem and Jenin have never been able to go to Jerusalem.
