And over time, these towns, a few years after the first railroad, incorporated as towns and communities.

So You know, you could say that we're all in these communities, you know, the smaller ones, Saluda and Tryon and Landrum and some of these areas are there because of the railroad.

So, you know, with interstates and trucking and those practices, the railroad was not the most efficient and cheapest way to move people and goods anymore.

And we, of course, have.

Well, you'd actually be starting in Zirconia.

Right now, that's kind of the 31 and a half miles starts near Zirconia.

And then would go through Saluda, as you mentioned, and so down the grade then to Tryon, and then through Landrum, Campobello, and Inman, and a little past Inman.

And that's the full 31.5 miles.

I have enjoyed being here.

It's kind of interesting that a lot of the sport has moved this direction because you wouldn't have thought that if you went back to the 90s, you'd be surprised that they had a World Games in Tryon, that there's a big show facility there.

So in a four-hour drive with my truck, I can get to a whole series of horse shows that go all year except for the winter and a lot of FEI stuff.

There's also horse showing that's very close to us.
