Truvy Jones

I want to know what that magic sauce was.

Her portrayal of Truvy in Steel Magnolia is part of the reason I wanted to see it at Playmakers.

I was like, Dolly was a big part of that movie.

And the

You want to explain what we've got here to eat?

Yeah, so the late, great Dolly Parton played Truvy in a movie called Steel Magnolias.

Well aware of

it.

What if you had nail trimmers and a nail gun and a

roll from a paper towel tube? I would be Truvy from Steel Magnolias in the sequel that they never made where she was building houses to help out as well.

All right.

Truffies, habitats

If really any other years, I bet her, I bet those would've won.

Other screen credits include The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas from 1982 with Burt Reynolds, Rhinestone in 1984 with Sylvester Stallone, Steel Magnolias, 1989, in which she played Truvy Jones, Straight Talk in 1992, Joyful Noise in 2012, and the Netflix anthology series Heartstrings in 2019.

She also appeared on Hannah Montana as Aunt Dolly, a nod to her real-life goddaughter, Miley Cyrus, who starred in the show.

Mm-hmm.

They get a short haircut so they don't have to maintain it as much.

And I do like that she sees it, doesn't really say anything, but her face changes and Dolly or Truvy, as her character is called, is like, well, you don't like it? I did exactly what you told me to.

It's like, it's your fault.

You gave the wrong instructions.

So that's good.

And then the other three who I don't know, I was just blindly guessing and I was wrong about the one that I said was maybe Anel.

It's not the... one with the afros and now shelby is the one in the top left and truvie is the one in the middle bottom i don't know about this casting i don't know but yeah oh the other thing i this is a good one because it's more of a deep cut, I would say, but I would want a t-shirt for Truvy's hair salon, something with her branding.

That's good.
