Troy Evans

Does it have to be one or the other?

Troy Evans, a guy whose face you've seen in a thousand different things, a welcome character actor in just about anything you'll watch.

He's great.

And he's warning Bannister that the FBI has taken over this case.

Jake Busey is Johnny Bartlett.

Troy Evans is Sheriff Walt Perry.

And Arlie Emery is Hiles, the ghost of a master sergeant.

Basically... resurrecting his performance from Full Metal Jacket.

Just, I think, um, our man from Ace Ventura just describes it as, uh, Roger Prodactor.

Uh, for those that it's Troy Evans is the actor's name, but he's Roger Prodactor to me.

Um, he just says, yeah.

And the, the, the coroner said, it's like their heart was crushed.

The principal from Twin Peaks?

Troy Evans, I think.

Yeah.

I thought that was gonna get weird, and that he was gonna make some, take some liberties.

Some actors in here get a lot to do that they don't normally get to do.

Like Troy Evans is an actor you've seen in a million movies, Halloween, Four, Near Dark.

He's just kind of always a police officer type, and he plays a sheriff in here.

Great performance, great bigger role.

Uh, Betty Carb Valaho as Nurse Patsy.

Troy Evans as Deputy Charlie Block.

Frank Como as Deputy Nick Ross, and David Erson as D- Deputy Tom Farah.

That was them two joker cops, I think.

He's just this sort of like-

... happy-go-lucky guy.

Uh, but, uh, he's-

... the...

I can't remember the stuntman who did that.

But yeah, I, I remember reading trivia on Under Siege that Troy Evans was not taking any of Seagal's shit.

[laughs]

Oh, he's fantastic.

Uh, but this is where we are introduced, of course, to the great character actor Troy Evans as Sheriff Walt Perry here.

Yeah.

And he comes to tell Frank that, uh, "You know, Frank, you know anything about all these deaths that are going on here? 'Cause the FBI's taking a, an interest here." And you know, he's, he explains how all of these deaths, they look like heart attacks, but then when we get to the autopsy, all of the, you know, valves and aortas and everything are all squeaky clean, but it just looks like the hearts have been crushed with a pair of hands or something.
