Trousseau sign of latent tetany

Now, the two must-know signs for hypocalcemia, that low calcium.

You gotta write this down.

We have Trousseaus and Chvosteks, or simply Vosteks.

So simply think Ts and Cs for low calcium.

You gotta know this.

So what are they? Well, Trousseaus is simply the arm twerk for Trousseaus when you put a blood pressure cuff on.

And what about Vosteks or Chvosteks? Simply think of the C here in Chvosteks, a cheeky smile when you stroke the side of the cheek.

Two classic indicators of low calcium.
