Trombone Champ

I've never tried playing myself.

Um, but the next game we're playing next week is Trombone Champ.

Trombone Champ.

I played about an hour of trombone champ and played the Disney DLC.

i played it for longer before eric

you did you did because like literally because like you know look we're in production of this right now and um you know we have test versions we have developer versions out there they're working and and we went to one yesterday and literally wasn't working so i'm like oh man i like we get in and see the environments they look beautiful they look awesome but the music just wouldn't play so jazz and i were both like i just want to freaking play it so they the developers worked their butts off all day to get a good build working so you can actually go in and play the music.

And I was like, on what? And they were like, for hours, for three hours, we were on a call with like Disney execs and just trying to, and I'm like, trying to what? Spit it out,

boys.

And they're like, well, they never really heard of Trombone Champ and they don't really play VR.

And so for like two of those three hours, Skiva was on like tech support, walking them through exactly how to like basically open the box for a VR headset, how to turn it on, how to find the game Trombone Champ, what to do like step by step, had to walk them through.

Like, honestly, the company started in 2024 with our first game put out in December, November, end of November.

Yeah, Trombone Champ, yeah.

And like

a year and a half later, we've got all these banger titles and all these publishing titles and we got more stuff coming.

And then I'm like, oh, let me go try that one again.

I played Trombone Champ there and I'm like, man, I haven't played this in a couple months.

It was awesome.

I'm like, I went in and played, I was just testing a couple of songs and I ended up playing for like almost an hour.

So I apologize for not being where I'm supposed to be ever.

But you played a little bit of the DLC for Trombone Champ, the Disney DLC, which, by the way, I noticed is called Volume 1.

Yeah.

I think that tells us something.

Just when you're playing that chorus with the trombone, it just sounds so ridiculous.

It's just...

This is what I love about Trombone Champ.

And just to sort of give a bit of background, when I first joined Flats VR Studios and I joined our internal comms and I saw the first title they were working on was Trombone Champ, I was blown away because I was a fan of Trombone Champ and I remember playing it thinking, I wish there was like an official VR version.
