Trocadero Theatre

He knew Manna and we fell in love with Manna and we raised money for Manna for years and years.

So you first started at the Trocadero? Was it the old Trocadero?

Oh, God.

Yeah, we did.

I'll never forget when I got to see Full Cycle with Roni Size, DJ Die and the rest of the crew, Dynamite, and everybody else in Philadelphia.

It was one of the greatest things I've ever experienced in my life in the Trocadero.

Big shouts to Philadelphia, the Illadelph, and it was beautiful, man.

It's one of my favorite memories of my entire lifetime.

After

the second album, we did another... like maybe five or six songs with a label called black numbers here in new york so so gray area in the beginning we did our thing right and then after about five years whatever that's when i did john henry i think maybe and that's when i did uh some other things whatever and then we were asked uh to do i think we opened for helmet maybe to come back and do a show right and then we played um at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, right? And the video was all over YouTube.

And we got up there and started whatever, and it exploded.

And it was almost like the vacuum of not having gray area for a little while made everybody appreciate it more.

So, but he has a whole setup down there in his basement and I've been down there, uh, over the past thing.

I met him playing a show at the Trocadero actually.

Oh really?

Yeah.
