I, I, I don't think they've done Froot Loops yet, but Kellogg has promised that by the end of this year, they're gonna have the colors gone.

Um, and I'm already seeing General Mills cereals, um, Trix.

Um, you can get Trix without color, without the petroleum dyes.

When General Mills took the petroleum dyes out of Trix about 10 years ago, sales went down.

So they put them back.

So I don't know how long this will last.

Like it was dark out still.

And I ate a Trix.

Is it Trix for kids? Yogurt.

Do you remember those? Yes.

Then something terrible happened.

that it wants companies to remove the artificial additives.

And so far, I've only seen one serial, General Mills Trix, that has actually done that.

And Trix is still being sold with the artificial additives, but there's now a version that has vegetable dyes, not the petroleum dyes.

So that's a quick response to a federal request that companies remove these dyes.

So a lot of the people who listen to this podcast are aspiring or current CPG entrepreneurs.

A lot of them have big dreams to build big companies, whether or not it's going to be one of those massive CPGs or they're going to go for an exit at some point.

I wonder if there's a message that you would love to have for all of them, like maybe the same message you would have loved to give to all of these other CPG entrepreneurs, creating the serial companies early on in how they should think about building their products and the marketing.

Is there something that you would love for all of these entrepreneurs to have in mind as they're building their companies?
