Tristan Rogers

Um, I auditioned to lead, uh, this is when web series first came out.

I auditioned to lead a web series opposite Tristan Rogers.

And, um, I sort of went into this conference room and I, I left it all on the court.

Right.

So I enjoyed like finding ways to do that.

That's so great.

And how lovely of the late Tristan Rogers to.

He was wonderful.

And just knowing that all of them, you know, majority of them came from, you know, soap backgrounds, have extensive careers.

You look at, you know, folks like Tristan Rogers, Mary Beth Evans, you know, longtime soap veterans, Matthew Ashford.

There's so many folks that have been in the business for such a long time.

And it's a way for us to just the Bay really highlights their talents and being able to just kind of focus in on these on these really talented actors and focus in on these characters that they brought to life for us.

So that starts next week with Jade Harlow's Liana Ramos.

Following week, we'll go back to an episode of The Bay.

And then after that, we will do a special deep dive on Commissioner Lex Martin, who we all know and love as the late, great Tristan Rogers.

Um, and, um, that's what we're going to do in, in a couple of weeks.

Other than him passing away from cancer, do we know if Tristan Rogers had cancer like multiple times? Because he also had cancer in Studio City.

Oh, I don't know.

I think their latest casting choices have been great.

I mean, yes, you have Hudson and Tristan that are almost cookie cutters of each other, but...

I know people say that Joe Hudson and Tristan are all like the same guy.

But one, Jerry is going to be an older guy.

Right.

We also heard he pitched a love triangle with Gio in the middle of Josslyn and Emma, and got another no.

And we've been promised an off-screen death for Robert Scorpio and a memorial for Tristan Rogers, and it keeps not happening.

Word on the street is it's because of Finola Hughes and Steve Burton's long breaks that everything got pushed back by months, including this.

So now I'm hearing it might even be next year before we say goodbye to Robert Scorpio, and that kinda hits hard.

Tristan Rogers was my very first soap crush when I was a kid, and I would like to see him and Robert Scorpio properly honored by General Hospital.

And it was quite a few people that said they want him to be Tanker Baby.

taker baby is something within the anna fandom and the robert fandom in which like you know anna and robert went missing after the tank blew up um and they have all of this missing time and like we don't know what happened in that time and so people want for anna and robert to have had another baby so originally people were hoping that chase was going to be tanker baby Then people were nervous that it was going to be Peter, but thankfully we found out Peter was Faison's kid with Alex.

And so now this is like another thing that pops up about around them, particularly because his name is like a... homage or honor to Tristan Robert, Tristan Rogers.

Well, I think that would make it even a better homage if he was Tanker Baby because they still haven't done a real honoring of Tristan Rogers.
