Trinitarios

And today, you even heard Mayor Mondani, he was doubling, he was tripling down.

He kept using the phrase Oscar, and I'm thinking, "Who is he talking about? Oscar the Grouch? Who's he talking about?" He's talking about Oscar Belgal, the guy accused gang member, the Trinitarios gang member, the guy with the long rap sheet.

And he keeps kind of using the phrase like, "He's a New Yorker.

He's one of our neighbors." Is there anybody out there that would like the guy who was in the car with his five-year-old child running around, and he had a rap sheet a mile long, and he had only been in the country three years? Makes you wonder, what did he do before he came into the country in the Dominican Republic? I'd be curious to see, does he have a rap sheet from there? He's 28 years old.

And we just have a little bit left, Director Todd Lyons.

What about this gang, too, that he apparently belonged to, this guy? Um, I mean, this was not, you know, a squeaky clean guy, and apparently this gang, the Trinitarios, uh, is connected to the murder of a Customs and Border Protection agent.

Yeah.

You know, Rita, I've spent a lot of my career dealing with the Trinitarios, especially in the Northeast when I ran the Boston office.

Um, they're a dangerous group of people.

They're right up there with TDA gang members, um, and MS-13.

That's not responsible governance.

You know what's interesting, uh, Bill, as you're talking about it, I mean, this case, uh, is, uh, absolutely sort of the poster child for, uh, uh, leniency on the bail reform, what's wrong with, uh, allowing these illegals with these histories out there.

The guy, the I- O- Oscar Bergel, the 28-year-old guy who's illegally here in the country, uh, from Dominican Republic, rap sheet a mile long, tied to the Trinitarios gang according-

Violence, violence, and-

Right.

Sounds great.

While he was allegedly to have ties to the bloodthirsty Trinitarios street gang.

So he really seems like citizen of the month.

He really seems like an amazing guy.

And of course, in the New York governor's debate, guys, one of the powerful moments was also talking about the case of Oscar Bergal.

That's the Dominican guy who was in the country illegally, who DHS says is part of the Trinitarios gang.

He definitely has a long rap sheet.

There is no doubt about it.

Don't do this." And they did not care.

These people are ruthless.

Uh, you think somebody who's part of a gang like the Trinitarios, which is responsible for killing a Customs and Border Protection agent, you think they care? They don't, and that's the sad reality.

Uh, let's go to Bob in Riverhead.

I'm not okay with, uh, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and his pro-Hamas mindset now applying that to all illegal immigrants in his city and calling for ICE to be abolished because i- its officers won't let illegal immigrants use children as human shields to protect themselves while they commit crimes.

I mean, this story last week where ICE officers shot Oscar Belgan, this illegal immigrant who had a rap sheet with four charges of felony robbony, robbery rather, two charges of felony assault, felony larceny, misdemeanor assault, weapons possession, misdemeanor arson, uh, possession of stolen property, two felony charges for dangerous drugs, and a strong gang affiliation with the Trinitarios.

And he chose to accelerate his car at a rate of speed and hit the vehicle in front and then flee from the officers.

And the mayor and a series of, uh, Democratic politicians in New York are defending the illegal alien against the ICE officer.

Yeah.

And now you're gonna come out, and you're gonna protect a Trinitario gang member that's pulling machetes, like you said, robbing people in the street, terrorizing the Bronx.

The Trinitarios are the worst gang in New York City.

What they've inflicted on the city over years is, is unconscionable, yet this is who the Democrats are going to protect over law enforcement.

It's hypocritical, it's an election year, and all they're doing is performing for clicks.
