I wanted to lead them from a place of strength, but m- you know, make no mistake, I was completely vulnerable with them and showed them all of my weakness and didn't try to hide it from them either, because I got to a place where I was so rundown that I couldn't.

So I still had a pretty positive attitude through it all, and I also want to just give a shout-out to the team at TriHealth, Dr.

Rocky, my surgeon, who will be on in a couple weeks, Dr. Corey, who was my radiologist, and Dr. Matesah, who was my medical oncologist, and the entire team at TriHealth, the nursing staff.

I mean, there were more nurses than I could even name who just... and people behind the scenes in the OR that I never saw, thankfully, 'cause I was knocked out.

Picking Health Plans
L
8:05LoganHOST
That'd be $2,500 of additional tax savings that you would be getting by utilizing the HSA and the high deductible health care plan.
L
8:15LoganHOST
So now we're talking about $5,500 that you have a leg up on compared to the traditional plan, the PPO plan, whatever the other plan is through TriHealth.

Now here's the downside.
L
8:27LoganHOST
Now that's where you have to go and say, okay, over the last few years, where's our health been at? How often do we use healthcare? Do we use it sizably? Do we not use it sizably? Do we go to the doctor every six months like we should? Do we do regular checkups? Do we have any prior history? Do we have any family history? And then you can kind of start getting these pieces together to say, hey, we're probably going to spend X number of dollars on health care.

M

I think we have other amenities that will be better for the greater good of Blue Ash, and we also won't hurt our local YMCA and TriHealth and things like that.
M

So that relationship for me was maybe even a money saver because I was like, I really saw how we would do something and realized there's some negatives, big negatives, financially and just maintenance-wise.

And lastly and most importantly, and I'd say this about anybody to any subject, I really think you should have some experience with a program or an issue before you vilify it or support it for that matter.
