Triffid

No, no, no, don't do that.

Watch the, was it the Triffids one? What was that one called?

Dave the Triffids.

Dave the Triffids.

That used to scare the hell out of me when I was a youngster.

Great book, that.

I sure wish I liked this movie better than I did.

As far as how it relates to the movie, Triffids were a normal, a regular species here on the planet until they got, everyone got blinded by a meteor shower.

The book's better.

But I think everyone was blinded by Frank and his incandescence.

And with all that, please enjoy the show.

The BBC presents The Day of the Triffids, a serial for broadcasting in six parts by Giles Cooper from the novel by John Wyndham.

Episode 1, The End Begins.

Have you finished,

Now, can't you give me something more personal, Bill? I mean, you worked with them more than anyone.

Except Walter.

He really understood Triffids.

Go on, Bill.

I saw a movie like that.

Day of the Triffids?

It wasn't that one.

I didn't see that one.

I know it

is.

No, Day of the Triffids was about killer plants.

Okay.

And Canovo Dragon was here, but I believe they're gone to class now.

And Triffid's here.

And I think Valerie says a fair number of people got COVID at Worldcon.

I only knew about Scott Adelman.

Yeah.

It was, it was bad.

Um, Oh wait, we got, Triffid says, I was severely irritated not only with being shut out of George's Hugo Losers party in Dublin, despite having an invitation, but also with his non-pology afterwards.

Triffid was best fan cast loser.
