And so the first lesson there is you always have to be very conscientious of what data you start with.

What's structured? What's unstructured? What can you get structured? What can't you get? And how do you start working with that? One example of that is to think about how much of that heavy lifting, this is like a promo slide for Trifacta.

Put a logo.

The heavy lifting, this is such a big problem.

Facebook were the guys who did this really the first of saying, look, anybody can access the data.

What we haven't done is built the tooling to really empower others to do that.

And that can be on the cleaning of the data, like Trifacta is doing, of really like, hey, this is a hell job.

We're going to help make this easier for you.

Jeff and I had been around each other and had met a couple of times through the whole tableau.

He had started a company called Trifacta.

And even though we hadn't worked together, we had both worked with a number of people who knew us well.

And so there was almost that reference and kind of reputation that we had on each other.
