Triangle Business Journal

New this afternoon, a longtime Raleigh coffee shop is expanding.

According to the Triangle Business Journal, Cup a Joe Coffee Shop and Roastery has signed a lease for a building at the intersection of Hillsboro and Gorman Streets.

That's the formerly Crafty Crab Seafood Building.

Our camera crew stopped by the empty building today.

Excited to be here.

We first met at the Triangle Business Journal's Empowered Women Forum, and I was just so inspired by the very tangible advice you gave all the attendees.

And I've been so looking forward to this conversation, so I'm so happy that we're having it finally.

Yes.

Turning to Chatham County, Triangle Business Journal reports a Superior Court judge has sided with a developer who wants to put a data center at Triangle Innovation Point off Route 1. in spite of the county's recently enacted moratorium on data centers.

The judge did not strike down the moratorium.

Instead, he ruled that the developer can go forward because they'd begun the process before the moratorium was enacted.
