Tri-Cities

You're a photographer with the Columbian newspaper, a newspaper that was really the, the third newspaper in the Lower Mainland after the Vancouver Sun and Province.

It really told the stories of, uh, the, the Tri-Cities especially, and it eventually became...

Uh, it eventually closed down, but, uh, you helped relaunch a newspaper in the area, uh, in the Tri-Cities and Royal, uh, City.

Yeah.

I mean, the, uh, the Columbian newspaper was, at the time, the oldest, uh, newspaper in, uh, British Columbia.

Unfortunately, it, it, uh, didn't survive through, uh, past 1984.

And so when it folded, uh, I helped start the Tri-City News, which, uh, filled the gap.

Again, uh, we were a number of papers that, uh, filled the, the New Westminster, Tri-Cities, and Surrey, uh, uh, readership area.
