Trevor Philips

It was in the files and was extrapolated and was a bigger version of Liberty City than what was in GTA 4, which is crazy.

You get DLC featuring more of Trevor, but as Agent Trevor.

Mission names, vehicles, dialogue, cutscenes, things like that.

There was GTA 6 files in there.

But I guess it was more Trevor stuff than things with... with Franklin, and people were hoping to get some kind of callback to, you know, San Andreas.

We also learned that it might have potentially led to some story DLC that took place in a fictionalized Europe within the GTA universe.

A version of Paris, if you will.

Even the ones I don't like that much are good, objectively.

Michael and Trevor.

Trevor is insufferable.

I hate that character, but In a good way.

You know what I mean? Like you should, you know? And you kind of love that you hate him.

And you love some of the stuff he does, but you're like, ah, I can't get behind this other thing you're doing.

You know, but it makes you think, right? He's a cartoon.

And I like that cartoon character that Trevor is because he's a vehicle for the player to express their feelings.

Because we had a common ground fairly recently in which I talked about Steven Ogg, the actor, his approach.

He was Trevor in GDA5.

And we talked about his approach to the way he saw GDA5 and his approach to fans when it was brought up and being quite standoffish.

He has, in the last week, released a video where he watches a playthrough with the guy who plays Michael in GDA 5, and he sits and talks through his experience of GDA 5.

So not a horror con, but it did have a few horror guests, and I met three of them.

The three that I met are Stephen Ogg, who played Simon on The Walking Dead, but he's most famously for playing Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V, and that was a trip because...

It's like basically meaning Trevor from Grand Theft Auto 5.

That's what most people in line were there for.

He's been on a ton of shows as well.

Now he's more well-known because he's the guy who actually recruits Michael in GTA V.

Uh, and that's before Trevor cuts his ear off and kidnaps and sort of quasi falls in love with his wife.

So it's all pretty complex.

Suffice to say, Faber is a pretty shadowy character.

So this one is the Flying Lotus segment, and it stars Steven Ogg, a.k.a. Trevor.

The only thing I wrote in my notes was fucking Trevor.

I forgot that he was in it.

But anyway, so there is this kids game show called Ozzy's Dungeon, and you can compete to try to win a wish.

This one girl gets really, really badly hurt, like beyond fucked up hurt.

And they continue.

And then eventually the show is canceled, and the family of the girl who was injured kidnap the game show host, Trevor, to essentially put him through what he put them through, as well as to force him to get them to be able to redeem the wish that they didn't get to redeem in the past.

Yeah

... and we will not have a, like Trevor for instance [laughs] in GTA V was just like, uh, you know.

That, that was a big swing.

Uh, I think a swing and a miss, but [laughs] you know, that's, that's like where GTA V's head was at.

The worst one is psychopath.

So if you want to go Trevor, old school,

you're a teenager, and GTA Vice City came out, and you're just running civilians down.

Walking

The hype is so fucking real.

And again, I'm just hyped for them together.

I think of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin, that bond.

I think of Nico Bellic.

But I think it's good that if you choose to play as one mission as Jason or Osea, the other one will just go off and do stuff.

We kind of got hints of that in GTA 5 when you character switch and you get Trevor waking up on a bench and going like, oh, another crazy night.

But this feels like they're both going to have routines that they'll be just going about their day and you'll be able to, I assume, like drop in at a certain time in the morning every time.

And that will be, oh, Lucia's always in the gym because that's when she goes, as long as she's not out, you know, robbing a shop.
