Trevor Belmont

So I don't know if story-wise they're connected.

I think they, I think they might be, 'cause it's Trevor Belmont, and Rose is, Rose is her, uh, his daughter.

daughter.Okay.

Um, anyway, fuck, I'm so excited.

Where did you get it?

I got it years ago for my Trevor Belmont cosplay.

Yeah.

Ah.

[laughs]

Trevor Belmont.

Uh, you know, it's one of those well-worn types of characters, but I appreciate at the moment, we'll see how they continue it, but I, I like at the moment his debate between whether or not to be honorable or just to continue nomadically sort of just moving around without purpose.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Little John, do you have a number one right now?

Probably Trevor Belmont, just 'cause he's the, the reluctant hero who's, like, kind of the drunk.

Yeah.

And the fact that this is a direct sequel to Castlevania three, which I friggin loved is is very exciting to me.

It opens with Trevor Belmont and you play as his daughter, Rose.

And it's kind of like her first outing, like all by herself.

She's got like this mysterious curse on her arm, hence the name Belmont's Curse, where she has like this bright pink arm.

And he's kind of like, you know, Trevor's concerned about her well-being because of the curse.

But she's like, I've got it.

I've got it.

Looking forward to that.

That one you will play as Rose Belmont, who's the daughter of Trevor Belmont.

But in the gameplay, she also references her mom, who apparently is a witch, and it's where she gets some of her powers.

So it's a little bit of a twist on the Castlevania formula, and it was incredibly fun to play.

And we stopped after season three and just never got around to season four.

So this is still like the Trevor arc.

This is before the Richter stuff.

And I won't spoil anything about it.

We're halfway through it now.

But it's kind of a funny coincidence because this was all kind of unplanned that we just ended up doing all these things at the same time.

But the upcoming Castlevania Belmont's Curse takes place in the Trevor Belmont era.

And I think you play as his... daughter or something and i think i read that like the voice actor for isaac in curse of darkness is coming back and like i wasn't even thinking about all this when one last week we started watching the show again and just before like in the four weeks before on uh the backloggery streams we were playing castlevania curse of darkness which i'd i'd never finished and it's I just didn't realize I was, I was kind of preparing myself for like being all caught up on the Trevor era lore in preparation for Belmont's curse.

I haven't finished it.

But the character that you play in the new one is Rose Belmont, Trevor and Saifah's daughter.

Oh, so it could be a reference to the, okay, to the other show.

I did watch that one.

You just turn around.

Trevor Belmont's poking it towards you.

The last thing you hear is just, Grand Cross! That would be fun.

Where is it coming from?
