You essentially cost us, the fans... draft picks because you were inconsistent because you were shady now i'm not saying that if her stories were straight like lawrence frank has reported in this in this uh report that we would have gotten a lesser punishment but maybe we would have who knows pablo torre weasel torres did say that steve ballmer refusing to comply and fighting ended up hurting us even more with the punishment But it says, by contrast, Mr. Frank openly discussed with investigators his conduct from the relevant time period, recalled details of key events, took responsibility for the actions of subordinates, and was generally consistent across his interviews.

So Lawrence Frank, as a result of that, gets only six months of a suspension in which Trent Redden is going to step in as the GM as was announced right after the Kawhi Leonard trade was finalized.

Now, the whole thing about Laurence Frank kind of snitching, that is an interesting takeaway because, like, would you rather have Laurence Frank be the same as Balmer and Gillian, which is shady, and then go down with the sinking ship? Or would you rather him do this? I mean, to be honest, I don't know and I don't care.

Uh, so, and who's making the decisions, right? Like, how much, how much leeway do you have to make decisions as far as with, you know, Trent Redden likely has taken over as far as any, uh, any interim.

But Lawrence Frank's suspension goes past the trade deadline.

Ballmer's gone for a year.

That would probably be their best way to take on bad money if there is an opportunity to get a first, hopefully, attached.

How would you grade out the Clippers front office over the last, let's say, decade now or seven years since the 2-1-3 era? The way you look at Lawrence Frank, who's now suspended for six months, the way you view Trent Redden, who now, assumingly, is in control as the interim president of basketball operations.

Where would you put them in front office rankings in the NBA?

I mean, what I would like to know is how... how much was ownership involved in the Thunder trade in 2019? Because I like to imagine that that was very much pushed by ownership to pay whatever price.

As many options as there are, as many ways that the owners can find to self-limit their spending and make it palatable from a PR standpoint, they're going to continue to use those.

Going back to the Clippers quickly, Trent Redden, according to Jake Fisher, was the one leading the call.

That's their GM, the one who is expected, including by me, to take control of the team in the absence of Lawrence Frank, who will be suspended at least through the trade deadline.

What the future of Laurence Frank would be is an interesting question.
