You did go into Fangorn at one point.

Well, I went into Fangorn, I went into Fornost.

And then, Fornost was my first game, Fangorn was my second game.

My third game was against Men of the West.

So that wasn't much better.

and he's got more resources.

So it's everything up to March of the Ents is the last thing that they do.

That said, it would be amazing to see

Treebeard get hold of that guy.

It would be amazing.

We are walking trees as well.

It's a great adventure, actually.

There's a little subsystem for you tracking Saruman's descent into darkness where certain events happen where you come back from your adventure and you're like, wait, have you been chopping down trees in Fangorn? What about the Ents? Those mines weren't as deep as that before.

We're on session four of that.

We've got nowhere near Isengard.

No, it's not Shadowfax, not the horse.

You know who I always thought was the most handsome in Lord of the Rings? Treebeard.

It was not Treebeard.

I was like, Treebeard has long knees.

Um, the guy who...

It's them fighting over the hobbits.

And it is the event that pushes our hobbits into the forest to meet Treebeard, who is a puppet, which I thought was just so cool.

And this time when I was watching, I really focused on his eyes.

And his

Fanghorn.

That was their name for him.

Um, but yeah, uh, since we're there, let's, let's talk a little bit about, uh, old Treebeard and the Ents in Fanghorn Forest.

So, um, I told you guys last time that, uh, Gandalf is probably my favorite character, but if, if it's not Gandalf, it would be Treebeard.

Then next is the Michigan Grand Tournament hosted by AFK Games on October 10th.

I'm guessing not a reference to Lord of the Rings, but also a reference to Lord of the Rings.

I think it's the gentleman's username, which is a reference to a fine work of fiction.

They hold, just, and they hold because the old man rides out of the gate himself rather than die behind it.

The second thing is the Ents.

The Ents are enormous tree herders, creatures shaped like trees, immensely old and immensely slow, and their leader is called Treebeard.

Merry and Pippin end up among them and the Ents hold a meeting to decide whether to go to war against Saruman.

It takes three days and everybody expects nothing to come of it.

And then they decide entirely on their own to march, knowing perfectly well it might be the end of them.

And the third thing is Merry and Pippin themselves, who begin as the two youngest and apparently least consequential members of the company and end up something else entirely.

They're separated from everyone, carried off by orcs, they escape into the forest and they quietly grow up.

But then Saruman came, adopting the name Sharky.

Treebeard had released him from his house arrest in Orthanc, and he had headed up there as he already had links to the area, and probably had heard about Lotho's coup.

He took over and doubled down on the industrialisation and brutality.

Before we get to the Four Hobbits' return, it's worth noting that there were some scuffles and small battles before that.
