Tree River

I think...

so I've been fortunate enough in my, in my life, even before explore, um, you know, and probably, um, 2008, I went up into Nunavut and went fly fishing, um, in the, in the barren grounds of the tree river.

So like, you know, and I had this great conversation with, uh, um, a local guide, Inuit guy, or, um, actually I think he was, I believe he was Dene, sorry.

Um, and, uh, and he was telling me about how, like what wilderness is, you know, and then like, if you drew these circles around like 150 kilometer circles around towns in, and cities in, in, um, in Canada, like none of them would intersect with the Tree River in Nunavut, no matter what, you know.

So he's like, this is like untouched.

And it was really meaningful to me.
