Why was Trey allowed to spat one or two all season long when he was not productive? Otani hit six last night, A-Rod hit eight in a playoff game.

Why does Trea Turner just live at one or two? Bullpen, how can you explain why it was so bad? Trey remaining at shortstop, how do you explain that? James, you won't agree with me, but I agree with me.

If I'm Trea Turner, I'm sitting there saying, "Okay, you wanna move me off shortstop.

What do you got? What, what, what's your, what's your alternative? Who's gonna play? Who, who's replacing me?"

Yeah.

Dave Dombrowski is gonna have to sit there and say, "Ah, you know, well, we've got these prospects we like.

They have so many players that are old and getting older.

Schwarber, Turner, Harper, JT is arguably already over the hill.

JT Realmuto is.

[lip smack] They have young players leaving.

Maybe prospect Aiden Miller can step in, right? They'll move Harper back to first now that Luis Arraez is walking in free agency, so he can kind of replace Bohm.

But if they move...

They put Aiden Miller at third, they put Trea Turner at second, they put Aiden Miller at short and Stott at third.

They still have to figure out another replacement for Stott in a year.

Is Bryce Harper moving back to first? Well, seems like that will be the case.

But then what's the plan for the rest of the infield? Is Trea Turner staying at short? Is Alec Bohm, who's a free agent, coming back? Is Bryson Stott playing second? Is he playing third? So let's start with Trea Turner.

I felt like Dombrowski didn't hold back when he was talking about Trea Turner.

Now, I heard Johnny Marks this morning saying that he thought Dave Dombrowski was a coward with the way he handled the Trea Turner situation.

Goes after him and wants to know if he's elite or just a good player.

This year, and this, I think this one was a necessity.
