But like – What have the conversations been, just from maybe a culture, a fan base, whatever, the people that are listening to this, Miami fans that are listening to this, how do you want to sustain what you built last year?

I think what you said, first and foremost, we've got to put a great product out there.

We've got to put a product out there that people are willing – to battle weather.

You know, that snowstorm at UMass that night.

Hey, you know what? It's a little cold.

It's very snowy.

A lot of snow on the ground that night.

How do you think the conference looks this year?

[laughs]

in this, in this landscape, right? You gotta be willing to, to adapt and, and we have.

And, and quite honestly, the NCAA probably should've just said last April, whenever it was, "Hey, all the twen- the high school class of 2022 automatically get a five for five," uh, just to get rid of all...

Just so everybody has a clear direction.

Uh, but Antwan obviously became eligible, uh, uh, per the court's, uh, legal system here in July, and he just joined our team this past weekend, uh, which is great.

And, you know, listen, Antwan's been a part of the two winningest teams ever in Miami's history.

Just what stands out the most about the non-conference schedule, and maybe what you hope to learn from your team during that stretch?

[laughs]

Hey, what, what was last night, uh, like going to sleep last night? I, I wanna know the truth.

Like, did you sleep? How nervous were you? Everybody thought you were in, but, but you know, like, who knows what can happen with the committee.

Yeah, you, you never know, right? Um, you know, I watched my, my brother's team win against Toledo.

It was a heck of a game.

I mean, Toledo put up a, a, a great fight.

It was a... could've went either way.

So, but how did you guys navigate all the distractions of going undefeated and, and, and what that brought it to your group? Now to you, Coach.

How hard is it to get your guys to handle that kind of pressure?

Yeah, you know, I don't know if our guys necessarily felt any pressure.

Um, you know, just because, you know, I, I felt like we probably felt more pressure down the stretch with our regular season, just trying to make it undefeated.

I think we're one of four teams, um, since 2000, um, to go undefeated in the regular season.

And which again, you think about how many, I mean, there's 360 Division I teams and 26 years.

I mean, that, that's incredible.

Um, but you know, listen, we didn't play great.

So, uh, th- what's happening? The buzz on campus.

So my question is, if it's the most powerful drug in the world, and it's legal, where do you guys get it? In fact, where do we all get the most powerful drug in the world, especially since it's legal and available to everybody?

Yeah.

Um, you know, confidence is a, uh... it's a powerful thing, man, a- that belief, and...

but that's earned.

You know? So one of our core values of our program is embody undeniable confidence.

I want guys to have that swagger, have that belief, play with that at all times, and...

but it is earned, you know, through your process, right? Are you going over and beyond to prepare for those moments? And then you have to be mentally really tough, right? I mean, 'cause you're gonna face adversity, um, both as a team and as individuals.

Look, talking heads, keyboard warriors, that's all one thing, but how concerned are you that the NCAA Selection Committee might see it the same way?
